The Radio Cab Turkey Project >  What is it ?

In simple terms, the Radio Cab Turkey Project is a hunger relief
program that serves families struggling with food insecurity.

In broader terms, The Turkey Project is much more. It is a unique
food program that provides families living in Greater Portland the
essential ingredients -
a Christmas turkey with all the fixings - for
one of the most cherished family meals of the year.
The Radio Cab Turkey Project supports the family meal >

Each year, local food banks exhaust their supplies of food boxes
during the holidays. Our program strives to bridge that gap in a
special way - by providing a complete Christmas dinner that sets
the table and brings the family together.

Another benefit of the Turkey Project is its personal touch.
Hundreds of turkeys are delivered personally by the drivers of
Radio Cab Company who volunteer their time to reach seniors, the
infirm, and those without transportation.
